Nick Cannon had an Awkward Encounter with Oprah

Back when Nick Cannon was married to Mariah Carey, he had an opportunity to meet Oprah backstage after Mariah Carey performed on Oprah's show.

Nick Cannon recalls this while on "The Howard Stern Show."

He says: "The first time I met Oprah I made the dumbest mistake. Well, it wasn't the first time I met her, because I had seen her in passing and stuff, but at the time Mariah was on the show and we had just gotten married, so this is like my first real face to face conversation with her, " Cannon explained. "And se we're backstage in Chicago and Mariah just did her thing on the show, and Mariah's like "Hey Oprah, this is Nick."

"And like on of my favorite movies is 'The Color Purple,'" Cannon says. "So this is my opportunity to show Oprah how much I love 'The Color Purple,' so the first thing that comes out of my mouth is 'You told Harpo to beat me?"

"She (Oprah) looked at me, and Mariah's like 'I can't believe you just said that...' But I'm thinking everybody's gonna laugh," he said. "Oprah looked at me and we ain't been on the same page since. That was the most awkward moment I've had."

The Walking Dead Season 6 Finale introduces Negan and Maggie has a Miscarriage

Warning: There are Season 6 Spoilers below.

Negan Introduced When we Return to Walking Dead Season 6

In the Walking Dead, Season 6, Rick Grimes and company have been living among the Alexandrians. In the mid-season finale, a tower falls into the Alexandria wall, and zombie "walkers" start pouring into Alexandria. Shortly after, we see the beginnings of the character, Negan (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan). This would mean that the Saviors are there too - which are seen in the 2 minute sneak peak at the end of the mid-season finale. Fans of the Walking Dead comic know that the arrival of Negan means that Glenn's death could be soon upon us. Glenn recently survived a near-death event in the show, leaving viewers wondering if he actually survived after he fell into a mass of zombies.

Finale Minutes of Season 6 mid-season Finale

In the final minutes of the Season 6 mid-season finale, the still alive humans of Alexandria smear zombie walker guts all over themselves to blend in with the undead. They are walking among the undead, and her youngest son (Sam) can't keep quiet. He continues to say "Mom" in the worst possible moment of needing to be quiet in a dangerous situation.

Sam is the epitome of Alexandria's innocence, which is being defiled by zombies.

When the Walking Dead, Season 6 mid-season finale concludes, we see a 2 minute trailer of Abraham, Sasha, and Daryl driving a gas truck down a road and they are stopped by Negan's posse of bikers. They stake claim to all of their possessions, in the name of Negan. Watch that below:

Russian FOX Affiliate Drops Hint about Carl in Season 6

But a Russian FOX affiliate shows a preview shot of Carl from the second half of the Walking Dead, Season 6, and Carl has a bandage over his eye (below). Will Carl be shot in the eye by Negan?
We can be sure that he wasn't shot in the eye by zombies.

Carl gets shot in his eye

The Walking Dead, Season 6 returns to TV on Sunday, February 14, 2016. According to the cast, the finale of Season 6 was very hard to film. Actor Andrew Lincoln was up at night and couldn't sleep the night before. Actress Lauren Cohen describes it as the worst day on the set in her life. Andrew Lincoln didn't even want to go to work, and was late to the set that day.

Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) Gets Killed off in FOX show, Gotham in Season 1

Jada Pinkett Smith as Fish Mooney
Fish Mooney will not be returning to Gotham Season 2
Warning: This blog post contains spoilers about the Fox show, Gotham, Season 1.

If you haven't already read the title of this blog post, then you in are for a spoiler.  Jada Pinkett Smith has revealed that her character, Fish Mooney, will be leaving the hit FOX showGotham, in Season 1. Yes, that means she will not be alive to cause problems in Season 2.

Fish Mooney will be killed off in Gotham Season 1 Finale

This can be gathered after Jada Pinkett Smith was on "Live With Kelly and Michael" on Friday March 6, 2015.  She was asked while on the talk show if she would be returning for Season 2 of Gotham - which has already been picked up by FOX. (That was announced in this Variety article). Jada Pinkett Smith answered: "I don't think so, no. I signed up for a year, and the year is up. But, there are some great things coming ahead on 'Gotham' - believe you me, there's a lot of good stuff coming."

When Jada Pinkett Smith talks about "...a lot of good stuff coming..." could she possibly be referring to her own character (Fish Mooney's) death?

Because she can't be referring to the rise of Batman, because we were told that Batman is not seen in this show...ever. So she could only be referring to something big - like the death of a major character.

But from her perspective, it would not be a good thing, because that will be the end of the paychecks for her part on the show.

But, given the fact that FOX only renews shows that get big numbers in ratings, and that FOX only airs shows that are "edgy," one can only imagine that Fish Mooney will be killed off in the Finale episode of Season 1 of Gotham. That is my prediction, anyways.

Fish Mooney has already been to the underground, and then demanded that she speak to the guy running the organization (the Dollmaker). When the manager attempts to take her eyes, she jams a spoon in her own eye, and rips it out onto the floor, and then steps on it.

You can't be too careful around a guy that calls himself the Dollmaker in the DC Comics world. There were three Dollmakers, actually. And you can read about all of them here.

The show, Gotham, is a must watch show and is approved by Z. Love's Entertainment Blog.

If you want to find our more about Fish Mooney, DC Comics has an article titled: Five Burning Questions About Gotham's Fish Mooney.

The Walking Dead Season 5 Premiere on AMC: Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) Decides to Grow a Bigger Beard

The Walking Dead Season 5 promo poster

The Walking Dead, Season 5 is set to premiere Sunday, Oct. 12, at 9 p.m. Central on AMC.

Actor Andrew Lincoln, playing character Rick Grimes, said this to Entertainment Weekly about Season 5 of the Walking Dead on AMC: "When I realized the nature of this season, that it was going to be so brutal, I realized we're going to need a bigger beard."

Meanwhile, actor Norman Reedus (playing Daryl Dixon) prepared for Season 5 of The Walking Dead on AMC by practicing his crossbow skills at home with regular target practice in his backyard.

He wants to look like a pro in the show. in case there are any archery buffs that host your local viewing party. If you aren't part of one, it's time to find one.

Actor Norman Reedus tells Entertainment Weekly (here) that Episode 1 of Season 5 is insane as far as what they shot, and how it will be edited down to be shown on AMC. Using a metaphor, Norman Reedus called episode 1 "the 4th of July" because of its intensity and what happens to the group.

Executive Producer Scott Gimple says (in the video below) that [Season 5] is going to be a "season of extremes," including "some very different locations than we've seen before."

End of The Walking Dead Season 4: Not Everyone Made it to Terminus

Meanwhile, Carol and Tyrese are still in the wild, with Rick's baby Judith, while Beth was last seen abducted, while alone with Daryl in the woods. Carol confessed to Tyrese in Season 4 that she killed Karen and David at the prison, before they could turn into zombies. Tyrese was mad, but chose not to harm Carol, but instead, let her live with her guilt.

This gives you a little more insight, so you look informed if you decide to host or find a local viewing party.

Terminus in the Walking Dead Season 4

Season 4 of the Walking Dead left Rick Grimes and his party in a new setting -- Terminus. When they first got to Terminus, we see a woman cooking meat on a large grill, which led some viewers to believe that Terminus was a city of cannibals. They suspect this: Newcomers are invited in to the city with open arms, and when they let their guard down, they are killed and fed to the Terminus population.

At the end of Season 4, do we really know that Terminus is full of cannibals?

Not yet. This will be revealed in Season 5 Episode 1 "Sanctuary" of the Walking Dead, which is discussed below.

At the end of Season 4, Rick's group enters a large warehouse type of building and there is a woman broadcasting over the radio waves the following to attract more people: "Terminus: sanctuary for all...a community for all." This is so they can bring "fresh meat" to Terminus, if you think that they are cannibals.

Perhaps, you will want to host or find 'The Walking Dead Season 5' viewing party in your local area.

The Walking Dead, Season 5 Episode 1: "Sanctuary"

As shared by Executive Producer Scott Gimple on The Talking Dead: In Terminus, the weak newcomers to the town are fed a plate of food. The meat is from humans. They are cannibals. The weak that reach Terminus are immediately taken to the rail car, to be butchered and fed to the Terminus population. According to executive producer, Greg Nicotero, Terminus was meant to be a good place. Unfortunately, the people at Terminus chose to follow the wrong path. Throughout the episode, the Termites keep saying: "You're either the butcher, or the cattle."

The woman in the episode in the candle room that Carol shoots is known as "Terminus Mary." She is Gareth's mom. At the end of the episode, she and her son Gareth and another are in the rail car to be butchered, after Terminus Mary was attacked by the zombies (after Carol let them in). It is unknown if she was actually bitten and will turn.

Meanwhile, Beth is alive somewhere, but is not happy to be there. That is all that is seen in Episode 1 regarding the character Beth, according to Scott Gimple.

Robin Lord Taylor had a very small part at the beginning of the episode, reprising his role as Sam. He is the first man on the trough. They cut his throat. You may also recognize him as the Penguin in the TV show, Gotham.

Rick Grimes gets his baby daughter Judith back from Tyreese at the end of the episode. Baby Judith was choked by a man from Terminus in the episode, and Tyreese stops him from killing Judith. He says in the episode that he isn't ready to kill again, but this incident motivates him to take action.

Who was the masked black man at the end of the Season 5, Episode 1?

He was a man from the Governor's group, named Morgan in Season 3. He is following X's marked on trees.

Almost Human Season One Deserves a Season Two on FOX

Michael Ealy and Karl Urban
DORIAN and Detective John Kennex in Almost Human (FOX)
One of my favorite rookie shows that started in the Fall of 2013 was Almost Human on FOX.

It is a show about Detective John Kennex based in the future, that wakes up from a 17-month coma and has to re-adjust to life on the police force.

He doesn't remember a lot about the raid that left him in a coma, so he frequents a back-alley doctor that induces episodes for Detective John Kennex to recall memories about what happened. His leg was blown off in the explosion, and now he has a prosthetic leg.

From what he is able to gather, his former girlfriend betrayed him and set him up. Detective John Kennex tries to find out why.

John Kennex also finds out more about his father's police investigation before he was killed.

Detective John Kennex Doesn't like Androids

Year 2048. Technology is big part of everyday life. To stay with the times, the police force issues an android to every human cop.

Detective John Kennex doesn't like androids, and pushes his newly assigned android out of his moving cop car, when it finds incriminating evidence on him. It is destroyed.

Police Captain Sandra Maldonado gives Detective John Kennex DORIAN, an older model android, that is more in touch with his emotions than the MX-43 standard issue androids.

Almost Human Season One deserves a Season Two

Rudy Lom (played by Mackenzie Crook) is the comic relief throughout the show, always bringing his dry humor to the situation as he is the resident android technician. I enjoy seeing him in each episode.

The Wall in Almost Human on FOX

The city's boundary in the show is called "the wall," and there are many references to how it is impossible to live outside of the wall. It is almost implied that anyone living outside of the wall is a rebel that is able to survive in hazardous conditions.

One episode late in Season One shows DORIAN's creator go over the wall with the ability to create an army of androids.

As Season One progresses, Detective John Kennex grows attached to DORIAN, and they develop a friendship. In the Season One finale, DORIAN gives Detective John Kennex a present -- a brand new prosthetic leg.

The shows deal with future issues, such as: cloning, cellular regeneration, androids, future drugs, and genetically modified humans. There are many references to Bitcoins as the standard currency on the show.

I think Almost Human is an entertaining show, and would like to see an ALMOST HUMAN SEASON TWO.

The ratings for the Almost Human (on FOX) season finale was 5.6 million viewers.

Auburn Tigers Barely Beats Georgia Bulldogs 43 - 38

Auburn barely wins against Georgia
Auburn Quarterback Nick Marshall about to throw to Ricardo Louis in win over Georgia

On Saturday Nov. 16, 2013 Auburn played Georgia in an SEC conference regular season game. Auburn barely wins. Georgia ended the game very close in score, but the scoreboard does not tell the whole story of how Auburn beat Georgia.

Auburn was ahead most of the game, ahead of the Georgia Bulldogs 37 - 17 at one point in the game.
Somehow, Auburn managed to blow a 20 point lead. In the final minutes of the game, the Georgia Bulldogs were up 38 - 37 over Auburn. Auburn then makes a "miracle" play to beat Georgia.

Auburn Miracle Play Wins the Game

With :25 sec remaining in the game, Wide receiver Ricardo Louis makes a 73 yard touchdown after a catch from Quarterback Nick Marshall. Marshall took five steps back before launching the football downfield to Louis.

Auburn defensive end Dee Ford said, "When he caught it, I fell on my back. I fainted for a second."

Auburn receiver Sammie Coates said, "I didn't know what to think. I saw the ball in the air, and I said, 'I hope somebody comes down with it.'"

Quarterback Nick Marshall said, "It was just an exciting moment to be a part of."

Wide receiver Ricardo Louis said, "I kind of expected to make a play, but not like that."

Coach Gus Malzahn was not worried. He had confidence in his quarterback after seeing Nick Marshall have successfully game-winning touchdown drives to win the game against both Mississippi State and Texas A&M earlier in the season.

Malzahn said, "Believe it or not, I felt good. I had a decent idea how'd they play in their two-minute defense, and we've got a great field goal kicker so we're pretty calm right there."

Auburn barely wins against Georgia, but it was nothing short of the quarterback Nick Marshall staying calm under pressure.

Can Auburn Beat Alabama in the Iron Bowl?

This has been a surprisingly good SEC football season for the Auburn Tigers, and everyone is wondering how Auburn will beat an undefeated Alabama Crimson Tide in the Iron Bowl on November 30, 2013.

Did You Know?

In the 2013 SEC football season, Auburn has won five games by a touchdown or less.

Explosive Terra Nova 2 Hr. Season Finale Airs on FOX

Terra Nova Wallpaper; copyright FOX

Terra Nova wraps up its first season with a 2 hr. finale on FOX - airing Monday, December 19th.

This first season has delivered on its promise to provide action-packed, sci-fi drama during prime time television.

One of the most power characters on the show is played by Stephen Lang, who plays Commander Nathaniel Taylor - the military leader of the Terra Nova colony. It may strike an ironic chord with some, because in the movie, Avatar (2009), he played Col. Miles Quaritch, the bad military leader who was out to strip the planet of Pandora of all its resources. But now, Lang's character Nathaniel Taylor is on the opposite side of the fence. While he is still a hard-nosed military leader, now his character is now concerned about the survival of the human race in the past, and will do whatever it takes to stop the money-hungry private interests from the future, to strip the past Earth of its vast resources.
Commander Nathaniel Taylor (played by Stephen Lang); copyright FOX

What we can see from both of these roles is that Stephen Lang makes a convincing military leader, and was brilliantly cast for this role in Terra Nova.

The other male lead on the show is Jim Shannon, played by Jason O'Mara. He is the "Sheriff" in town, carrying out any investigations that need solving in the Terra Nova colony, while also balancing out the role of father to the Shannon family.

The show wrapped up episode twelve on a suspenseful note - Commander Taylor's son went back to the future with plans to bring back an army that wants nothing less than to destroy Terra Nova, and then strip the past of any resources of any value to profit from in the future.

Previews for the 2 hr. season finale on FOX show that the colony of Terra Nova must fight for their freedom, because there is a battle coming in their near future, and it's going to be an explosive episode. Literally.

According to NY Magazine, the ratings weighed in from this season finale will determine if Terra Nova will get renewed for a second season. Producers are expected to pitch their vision for season two to FOX executives to try and keep life in the Terra Nova franchise, after a thirteen-episode run of season one.

So let's hope that Terra Nova ends on a season-high bang, giving it an opportunity to continue its story on FOX in 2012.
