3 Weekend Sales Worth Your Money: Home Depot Appliance Deals, Harbor Freight Parking Lot Sale, and Target's Stock Up Run

This weekend brings some of the strongest weekend sales we've seen lately, with real deals at Home Depot, Harbor Freight, and Target covering appliances, tools, and everyday essentials. Here's what's worth your money before each event wraps up.

Home Depot: Appliance Discounts and a Bath Event

Home Depot's appliance sale is live with up to $500 off select appliances on purchases of $998 or more, plus free delivery. The fine print puts the offer window at October 1 through October 21, 2026, with refrigerators and washers and dryers marked down up to 35% and other select appliances up to 40% off.

Running alongside it, the retailer's Bath Event takes up to 40% off select online bath vanities and faucets, with bathtubs up to 25% off — a solid excuse to finally refresh that tired bathroom.

Tip: If a big appliance is on your list, bundle it with smaller add-ons to clear the $998 threshold and unlock the top-tier discount and free delivery.

Harbor Freight: Parking Lot Sale

Harbor Freight's Parking Lot Sale runs Friday, October 9 through Sunday, October 11, 2026, with more than 150 tool deals in the mix. Standouts spotted on the sale page include 30% off select floor jacks and 40% off tarps and select socket sets.

Tip: This one rewards early birds — the best tool deals tend to sell out at local stores, so shop Saturday morning rather than Sunday afternoon.

Target: Stock Up and Save with BOGO Deals

Target's homepage is spotlighting a stock-up event with buy-one-get-one offers of 25% to 50% off (that's BOGO savings) across select grocery, beauty, health, and household essentials categories — the kind of sale built for pantry and cleaning-supply restocking.

Tip: A free Target Circle membership can stack extra savings and same-day pickup perks on top of these BOGO offers.

That's the weekend lineup — appliance markdowns at Home Depot, a three-day tool blowout at Harbor Freight, and BOGO savings at Target. All three events are live this October 2026, and every detail above was checked against the retailers' own sites on October 10, 2026. Before you check out, scan each store's coupons page for stackable offers.

Atlanta Man Pays $9k for Shed from Home Depot in Cartersville, GA & Nothing Happens for 52 Days

An Atlanta man purchased a shed from Home Depot in Cartersville, GA for $9,058.03 and after not hearing anything from them for 52 days, he wondered when he would receive his shed.

Shed

11Alive News reported that Atlanta resident Warren Kale found a tool shed he liked for his backyard at a Home Depot in Cartersville, GA. He paid $9,058.03 for the shed with his debit card and thought he would hear back from Home Depot that week, but he did not.

Home Depot Told Customer: 'Your Money Went Somewhere, but We Don't Know Where'

52 days had passed and he had not heard from them, so he went back to the Cartersville Home Depot store to find out what had happened.

According to Kale, the store told him "there was a glitch in the computer," and that "his money had gone somewhere, but they didn't know where."

Kale continued to wait for 52 days, and nothing happened, so he was concerned that he would not be able to get a refund. He went to his bank, and then he went to 11Allive News.

After 11Alive News got involved and contacted both Home Depot and Ameris Bank, finally the bank refunded Kale $9,058.03 back into his account.

While this was an ordeal for Kale, he was determined to get his tool shed. He went back to Home Depot and repurchased the shed, and it is now fully assembled in his backyard.
