'Human Skin Teddy Bear' was a 'Macabre Prank' Outside Convenience Store

ABC7 News reported that a California man left a "human skin teddy bear" outside of an AMPM convenience store on Bear Valley Road in Victorville on Sunday, July 13, 2025. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department was called to the scene to investigate the strange teddy bear that was left on the ground outside the convenience store.

A zoomed-in image of the bear can be seen below.

San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department: 'No Human Remains' Found on Teddy Bear

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department determined that there was not actually any "human remains" or "human skin" on the teddy bear. The claim was utterly false, and the police arrested 23-year-old Hector Corona Villanueva, and booked him for a report of an emergency while knowing that it was intentionally false and for planting evidence under the pretense that it was real.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department issued a statement about this incident, stating:

"Incidents such as this take up valuable emergency resources and put the public at risk, possibly delaying response time to legitimate calls for service. We would like to thank those that reported information that was helpful during the investigation of this case."

What was the 'Human Skin' Teddy Bear covered with?

The teddy bear was not made out of human skin. It was made out of latex.

ABC7 Eyewitness News spoke to Robert Kelly of Dark Seed Creations, an artist from South Carolina, who said that he made the teddy bear, and it was not made out of human skin, but out of latex. He confirmed that he did ship one of the bears he made out of latex to Victorville. He assumed it was just a routine order; however, he started to receive many calls when fans of his work started calling him on Sunday after recognizing one of his bears.

Kelly said:

"I guess I'd probably be lying if I said I wasn't enjoying it a little bit. You know, I'm an independent artist, so you know, I know what starving artist life feels like. So, a little attention is sometimes good regardless of not being able to condone whatever. I mean, I don't know if the guy broke any laws or it was just a prank, but it looks like he definitely got some people riled up." -Robert Kelly, Dark Seed Creations artist

His human skin teddy bear normally retails for $165 on his Etsy website

As of the date of publication, the human skin teddy bear was sold out.

On the front of the bear's foot are the words "Forever in My Heart" embroidered and "Barry Freed" on the back. A note attached to the back of the box read: "Barry Freed passed away on May 20, 2020."

Many people have wondered if Barry Freed was a human baby or even a pet. That is something that Vicki would sure like to know.

Neuralink Monkeys with Chip Implants Died in 2022

In 2022, CNN reported that the monkey with the chip implant died while attempting to get it to play Pong, which faced scrutiny to which they "denied animal cruelty claims."

Neuralink used macaque monkeys to develop their Bluetooth-enabled implantable chips. These chips were installed into the monkeys' brains. This was to test the feature for the person or monkey to communicate with computers using a small receiver.

Neuralink claimed the monkeys could play the computer game Pong, using just their minds. A video was released of a male macaque monkey moving a cursor on the screen with just its brain, as the video eludes (there is no joystick or controller present).

Kangana Ranaut Supports Elon Musk & Neuralink Human Brain Chip Implant

Hindustan Times reported on 30 January 2024 that Indian actress Kangana Ranaut supports Elon Musk's startup Neuralink Corp. after it implanted a chip into the first human brain.

Elon Musk further described what the chip would allow attached to a brain:

"Enables control of your phone or computer, and through them almost any device, just by thinking. Initial users will be those who have lost the use of their limbs. Imagine if Stephen Hawking could communicate faster than a speed typist or auctioneer. That is the goal." -Elon Musk

A Seattle Woman Finds an Urn with a Blue Ribbon on it in Goodwill with a Name on the Bottom & Has Ashes Inside. She Buys it for $3.99

A woman shopping at Goodwill discovers an urn with a blue ribbon tied around it sold under the category of "wares." On the bottom of the urn, it has a name written on it. She opens it and sees ashes inside. She decides to buy it for $3.99 from Goodwill and was trying to locate the family connected to the ashes. Goodwill has retrieved the ashes from her and has also attempted to find out if these belong to a human.

One Seattle, Washington woman that has discovered a love for "thrifting" found something unusual for sale at her local Goodwill, and now is unsure what to do with the item.

Seattle Woman Finds a Blue-Ribbon Urn in Goodwill

24-year-old Josie Chase was in her local Goodwill, and looking for something very interesting among the housewares. Yahoo! reported that Josie "has been collecting vintage clothing and accessories since 2018."

Josie came across a small urn with a blue ribbon tied around it, and she "immediately identified it as a cremation urn."

She said:

"It just kind of shocked me that there was an urn there," Chase said. "So I grabbed it and felt that it had some weight to it and looked at the bottom and saw that I had a name." -Josie Chase (Source: Yahoo!)

When she looked at the bottom of the urn, there is a sticker with the name, "Toby Cava." She assumes this is the name of the person that was cremated. The picture can be seen below.

Next Josie did what any curious person would do. She unscrewed it and looked inside, and sure enough, found ashes. She assumes these are human ashes.

She said:

"Then, I unscrewed it and saw that there were ashes inside," Chase said. "It was just kind of shocking and struck me and I thought, ‘Who would donate this? This is sad. It must have been a mistake or someone must have misplaced it.’ So, I thought maybe I could find someone who it was connected to [and] give it back." -Josie Chase (Source: Yahoo!)

The picture of the ashes in the urn can be seen below.

Josie tried to speak to a Goodwill worker about the urn, but since the store was busy, it was difficult. So she decided to buy it for $3.99. The Goodwill price tag labeled it as "wares."

She said:

"I just put it in our cart and me and my partner were like, ‘Well, if we don't get it, this will maybe go to the landfill or something.' We thought we should do it service and spread the ashes somewhere nice or try to find at least a good home for it. So, we decided to buy it," -Josie Chase (Source: Yahoo!)

Josie Chase Posts a TikTok Video About the Urn

Josie posts a TikTok video showing the urn inside of Goodwill in Washington and shows the urn being opened to reveal ashes.

In captions, text in the video reads, "Who donated this person to Goodwill?"

Then the TikTok video shows the urn wrapped in brown paper and the caption reads, "The cashier wrapped him up so nicely." See the picture below.

Urn wrapped in a brown paper

The video ends by saying in captions, "Toby was only $4."

Watch the TikTok video and see for yourself. It has been viewed over 13 million times.

It isn't every day that a person finds an urn filled with ashes at Goodwill, but it does happen.

One person that commented on the TikTok video said:

"The people could have dumped the ashes while driving down the highway and it would have been more respectful than dropping them at goodwill." -User7477347178750 on TikTok

Josie replied to the comment, by saying, "Agreed."

Goodwill workers should probably look inside things while they are pricing the items in the back, just to make sure there aren't any ashes inside.

Josie now believes that it could be pet ashes based on feedback she has received on her TikTok video.

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington Retrieved the Urn with Ashes

Fox News Digital reported that Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington contacted Josie and retrieved the urn with ashes, and also commented that they believe it was an animal's ashes, and not humans, and that the urn should have never made it out onto the sales floor.

Evergreen Goodwill has also reached out to funeral homes in case these ashes might be human.

Please share this article on social media so others can be informed about this story.

The Human Barbie Doll Valeria Lukyanova and Her Bizarre Claims

Human Barbie Doll

Ukrainian model Valeria Lukyanova wants to be known as the real-life "Human Barbie doll.

She walks, talks, and shops just like Barbie. She is technically classified as a human as defined in biology, but some of her beliefs are not from planet Earth. Some of her claims are just downright bizarre, and that's probably the intention.

If you say bizarre things, you get more attention, right?

Human Barbie Doll Valeria Lukyanova is Not Photoshopped

Many people simply think that she just isn't real, but she is. Valeria Lukyanova is not some model that has been photoshopped to look like a Barbie. She is Barbie in the flesh.
Valeria Lukyanova
Human Barbie Doll?

She really does strive to look as realistic as a human Barbie doll as possible, although she won't admit it, and actually states the opposite (as you will find out below). She makes some rather bizarre claims, and doesn't mind getting the publicity for them.

Does the Human Barbie Doll Valeria Lukyanova Promote a Bad Self-Image?

Some people say that Valeria Lukyanova is the epitome of what happens when young girls get caught up in an image of what women should look like and have unrealistic expectations of themselves throughout life.

The reality is that there is no perfect woman, and all women will have ups and downs in their lives. It is a part of life. Comparing your body to a Hollywood movie star or a model is unrealistic and is just not healthy.

Below you can see the evolving look of Valeria over the years as she has evolved into the Human Barbie.

The fact alone that she is capable of resembling a human Barbie doll so closely could be false hopes for some that think that such features are realistically attainable.

Artist Nickolay Lamm says: "She is so extreme that people think she's a crazy weirdo and don't look at the bigger, much more silent problem of young girls trying to achieve an impossible ideal."

Yahoo! Shine shared in their article some rather bizarre claims that Valeria Lukyanova has made, which might be part of her way of gaining publicity. HuffPost added even more weird claims to the list in this article.

Valeria Lukyanova May Look "Perfect" But She Has Made Bizarre Claims

Here are some "way out there" claims by Valeria reported by Yahoo! Shine:
  • Valeria Lukyanova told V Magazine in an interview that she is a professional mountain climber and spends weeks climbing the Himalayas
  • Valeria Lukyanova told an independent reporter: "In recent weeks, I have not been hungry at all; I'm hoping it's the final stage before I can subsist on air and light alone."
  • Valeria Lukyanova claims that she has out-of-body experiences. She self-describes herself as a New Age guru that has out-of-body experiences with the ability to travel to other planets and communicate with aliens "using light"
  • Valeria Lukyanova has stated that she has known her husband for 10 years. She is asked if he is human, and she says she "doesn't want to discuss that"
Here are some "way out there" claims by Valeria reported by HuffPost Weird News:
  •  Valeria Lukyanova wants to be a demigod. She said: "The aim of my life is to come to this planet to help people to realize that it is necessary to move from the role of the 'human consumer' to the role of 'human demigod'..." (this can be seen in her documentary "Space Barbie")
  • Valeria Lukyanova said that she started seeing spirits when she was 12 or 13
  • Valeria Lukyanova says she never intended to look like Barbie. She says: "Even though people call me Barbie, I never try to look like a doll. I just like everything beautiful, feminine and refined. It just so happens that dolls are based on the image of refined girls."

Valeria Lukyanova Doesn't Get Along with Human Ken Doll

One thing has been made very clear: Valeria Lukyanova is not on good terms with the "Human Ken doll," Justin Jedlica. They were featured together in a photo shoot in 2013, where they first met. He then shared the secret that she had only achieved her looks through plastic surgery. Bad move, Justin. Valeria was very upset with him for that. Justin Jedlica openly confessed to having more than 90 plastic surgery procedures to achieve his Ken-like appearance. Upon being "outed," Valeria only admitted to having one: breast implants.

Sadly, in this story, Barbie won't be marrying Ken to live in her dream Barbie house. Her home is on another planet altogether.

Will Human Barbie Valeria Lukyanova Ever Have Children?

Valeria Lukyanova probably won't be having children anytime soon, if ever.

When asked by a GQ reporter, Valeria said:

"It's unacceptable to me. The very idea of having children brings out this deep revulsion in me."

She continues her rant, saying:

"Most people have children to fulfill their own ambitions, not to give anything. They don't think about what they can give this child, what they can teach her. They just try to shape her according to some weird script--whatever they couldn't do in life, like becoming a writer or a doctor. Or some woman who's almost 30 and thinks no one needs her, she says: 'Oh, I'll have a kid. He will love me and become my reason to live.' And then this kid becomes a soccer ball she and her boyfriend will kick back and forth." -Valeria Lukyanova, Human Barbie (Source: GQ)
Do you think Valeria Lukyanova looks like a human Barbie doll?

New Existential Risk Center to Prevent Future 'Terminator' Takeover

"Terminator Robot" Source: thedot_ru

The University of Cambridge is starting a new center that will study the risks of existential threats to humans. This includes artificial intelligence (A.I.) in robots and computer games, developments in biotechnology and artificial life, nanotechnology, and climate change. It is referred to as the Center for the Study of Existential Risk, or CSER.

The official website states, “Our aim is to establish within the University of Cambridge a multidisciplinary research centre dedicated to the study and mitigation of risks of this kind. We are convinced that there is nowhere on the planet better suited to house such a centre. Our goal is to steer a small fraction of Cambridge's great intellectual resources, and of the reputation built on its past and present scientific pre-eminence, to the task of ensuring that our own species has a long-term future.”

Let me put that into terms that are much more understandable. To prevent an artificial intelligence (such as Skynet in the Terminator movies) from taking over the world, we need the Center for the Study of Existential Risk.

So before you forget that the AI on video games such as James Bond are harmless, be wary that some madman could easily put such software into a robot, as the hardware gets more advanced and more easily accessible. It's called advances in technology.

Then the human race is in real trouble, because the only way to stop an intelligent supercomputer is with an electromagnetic pulse that will fry all circuit boards in intelligent devices with the capability to exterminate the human race.

It may be time to get out the movie, I, Robot (2004) and watch it again, because let's face it - robots are getting smarter. It is only a matter of time before they send Terminator models from the future in search of John Connor.

Transformers 4: Do You Want More CGI Robots or Real Steel?

Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon

Do you want another Transformers movie?

Michael Bay has confirmed that he is signed on to direct Transformers 4, expected in theaters June 29, 2014.

Shia Labeouf has previously said that he was not coming back for more sequels in this franchise.

Actor Shia Lebeouf

They have also confirmed that this movie will not be a reboot of the franchise, but will be a continuation of the series, with a new storyline.

Most trilogies are failures because Hollywood is trying to make a buck, rather than making a great movie. For more on this common recurrance read my article, Trilogies Should Follow These Simple Rules.

Honestly, the Transformer movies sequentially have bigger explosions with each installment, and increase the robot on robot action, but lack in human connectibility. We have a hard time relating to cold, hard steel.

Real Steel movie poster
However, the movie, Real Steel (2011), did what the Transformers franchise could not - connect with the audience. In this Hugh Jackman movie, a father and son train a sparring robot to fight in the big leagues with robot boxers. This movie connected with those who had a rocky relationship with their father or son.

Real Steel: Hugh Jackman teaching robot his boxing moves

I really enjoyed the movie, Real Steel, and would recommend it to anyone over the Transformer movies.

Now, check out the new Chevy Sonic RS that will be in Transformers 4.
