Iowa Woman was Found Inside the Walls of a Business After Officers Heard 'Whispering in the Wall'

On another bizarre episode of "World's Dumbest Criminals," a woman was caught by police hiding inside the walls of a Geneseo business and is now facing criminal charges.

Police Find a Woman Hiding in the Wall of a Geneseo Business

KWQC News reported that Caleigh Gottsche of Davenport was arrested by police after hearing whispering in the walls of a business in Geneseo, Illinois.

A business owner on South State Street heard a "loud noise coming from the ceiling or attic area" around 5:30 p.m. and called 911. Police arrived and searched businesses nearby and that's when they heard whispering and movement behind the walls. They talked to Gottsche and were able to pinpoint her location.

Firefighters were able to pull her out of the wall safely.

Police believe she was working with two others, and are searching for them. Roads in the area were closed during the investigation. Police also discovered that they found damaged access points on the "shared roofs" of businesses at the location.

Local Businesses are Hurt by Theft

It’s striking how far some individuals will go to exploit honest businesses — in this case, one suspect actually hid inside the walls to gain unlawful access. According to the report, the suspect was discovered squeezed between interior walls of a commercial building, after first responders heard movement from the ceiling or attic areas.

This kind of bold intrusion demonstrates not only premeditation but also a willingness to put themselves in dangerous and conspicuous positions just to commit theft or damage. Businesses that operate under the assumption of standard break-in risks may be caught off guard when someone is literally inside the walls.

When you think about the impact on the business, this kind of crime goes well beyond just stolen goods or damaged property. The psychological effect on business owners and employees is severe — knowing someone managed to access hidden parts of your building unsettles the sense of security. Moreover, the cost often isn’t limited to items taken; it includes repair of walls, ceilings, rafters, roofs, and potentially shutting down operations while investigation or remediation occurs. In the cited case, multiple businesses at the location had damaged access points in their shared roofs, suggesting coordinated and extensive efforts.

This level of risk underscores how critical it is for businesses to not only secure visible entry points but also to be vigilant about unseen vulnerabilities and the lengths to which malicious actors will go.

FBI is Investigating Bizarre Case of a Russian Man that Flew from Europe to Los Angeles Without a Passport, Visa or Plane Ticket

A Russian man flew from Europe to Los Angeles without a passport, visa, or plane ticket, and the FBI want to know how he did it.

This is definitely a bizarre case of amnesia.

Russian Man Flew from Europe to Los Angeles Without Passport, Visa, or Plane Ticket

Sergey Vladimirovich Ochigava, landed at LAX on Nov. 4, 2023 on a Scandinavian Airlines flight from Copenhagen. He showed up at the customs checkpoint without a passport or visa and was not listed as a passenger on the flight manifest,

What makes this case strange is he claimed to be confused and couldn’t remember getting on the plane or how he got past security and boarded the flight without documents.

Ochigava exhibited strange and unusual behavior during the flight, such as wandering around, changing seats, asking for two meals, and trying to eat the cabin crew’s chocolate.

No, you cannot have the cabin crew's chocolate without asking nicely.

The FBI is Still Investigating this Case

The FBI filed a federal complaint charging Ochigava with being a stowaway on an aircraft. The FBI said the investigation is still ongoing and they are trying to figure out how Ochigava managed to get on the plane without a ticket and bypass security checks. The flight’s crew members conducted head counts for their individual sections before the flight, but those were intended to ensure the plane was balanced for landing and takeoff. It was only after the flight landed that the airline discovered its passenger count was one person above the manifest, which makes this a very strange case.

Ochigava is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Downtown Los Angeles and is expected to be in court later this month. He faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine if convicted of the stowaway charge. He could also face immigration and deportation issues as he has no legal status in the US. His case has raised security and safety concerns for the airline industry and the authorities.

This is a mystery that might take some time to figure out.

Hopefully the FBI will solve this strange mystery in Los Angeles.

The Human Barbie Doll Valeria Lukyanova and Her Bizarre Claims

Human Barbie Doll

Ukrainian model Valeria Lukyanova wants to be known as the real-life "Human Barbie doll.

She walks, talks, and shops just like Barbie. She is technically classified as a human as defined in biology, but some of her beliefs are not from planet Earth. Some of her claims are just downright bizarre, and that's probably the intention.

If you say bizarre things, you get more attention, right?

Human Barbie Doll Valeria Lukyanova is Not Photoshopped

Many people simply think that she just isn't real, but she is. Valeria Lukyanova is not some model that has been photoshopped to look like a Barbie. She is Barbie in the flesh.
Valeria Lukyanova
Human Barbie Doll?

She really does strive to look as realistic as a human Barbie doll as possible, although she won't admit it, and actually states the opposite (as you will find out below). She makes some rather bizarre claims, and doesn't mind getting the publicity for them.

Does the Human Barbie Doll Valeria Lukyanova Promote a Bad Self-Image?

Some people say that Valeria Lukyanova is the epitome of what happens when young girls get caught up in an image of what women should look like and have unrealistic expectations of themselves throughout life.

The reality is that there is no perfect woman, and all women will have ups and downs in their lives. It is a part of life. Comparing your body to a Hollywood movie star or a model is unrealistic and is just not healthy.

Below you can see the evolving look of Valeria over the years as she has evolved into the Human Barbie.

The fact alone that she is capable of resembling a human Barbie doll so closely could be false hopes for some that think that such features are realistically attainable.

Artist Nickolay Lamm says: "She is so extreme that people think she's a crazy weirdo and don't look at the bigger, much more silent problem of young girls trying to achieve an impossible ideal."

Yahoo! Shine shared in their article some rather bizarre claims that Valeria Lukyanova has made, which might be part of her way of gaining publicity. HuffPost added even more weird claims to the list in this article.

Valeria Lukyanova May Look "Perfect" But She Has Made Bizarre Claims

Here are some "way out there" claims by Valeria reported by Yahoo! Shine:
  • Valeria Lukyanova told V Magazine in an interview that she is a professional mountain climber and spends weeks climbing the Himalayas
  • Valeria Lukyanova told an independent reporter: "In recent weeks, I have not been hungry at all; I'm hoping it's the final stage before I can subsist on air and light alone."
  • Valeria Lukyanova claims that she has out-of-body experiences. She self-describes herself as a New Age guru that has out-of-body experiences with the ability to travel to other planets and communicate with aliens "using light"
  • Valeria Lukyanova has stated that she has known her husband for 10 years. She is asked if he is human, and she says she "doesn't want to discuss that"
Here are some "way out there" claims by Valeria reported by HuffPost Weird News:
  •  Valeria Lukyanova wants to be a demigod. She said: "The aim of my life is to come to this planet to help people to realize that it is necessary to move from the role of the 'human consumer' to the role of 'human demigod'..." (this can be seen in her documentary "Space Barbie")
  • Valeria Lukyanova said that she started seeing spirits when she was 12 or 13
  • Valeria Lukyanova says she never intended to look like Barbie. She says: "Even though people call me Barbie, I never try to look like a doll. I just like everything beautiful, feminine and refined. It just so happens that dolls are based on the image of refined girls."

Valeria Lukyanova Doesn't Get Along with Human Ken Doll

One thing has been made very clear: Valeria Lukyanova is not on good terms with the "Human Ken doll," Justin Jedlica. They were featured together in a photo shoot in 2013, where they first met. He then shared the secret that she had only achieved her looks through plastic surgery. Bad move, Justin. Valeria was very upset with him for that. Justin Jedlica openly confessed to having more than 90 plastic surgery procedures to achieve his Ken-like appearance. Upon being "outed," Valeria only admitted to having one: breast implants.

Sadly, in this story, Barbie won't be marrying Ken to live in her dream Barbie house. Her home is on another planet altogether.

Will Human Barbie Valeria Lukyanova Ever Have Children?

Valeria Lukyanova probably won't be having children anytime soon, if ever.

When asked by a GQ reporter, Valeria said:

"It's unacceptable to me. The very idea of having children brings out this deep revulsion in me."

She continues her rant, saying:

"Most people have children to fulfill their own ambitions, not to give anything. They don't think about what they can give this child, what they can teach her. They just try to shape her according to some weird script--whatever they couldn't do in life, like becoming a writer or a doctor. Or some woman who's almost 30 and thinks no one needs her, she says: 'Oh, I'll have a kid. He will love me and become my reason to live.' And then this kid becomes a soccer ball she and her boyfriend will kick back and forth." -Valeria Lukyanova, Human Barbie (Source: GQ)
Do you think Valeria Lukyanova looks like a human Barbie doll?
