Many Star Wars fans are wondering what is so special about Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer previewed October 19, 2015 during Monday Night Football.  That is an excellent question. What we have already seen in the teaser trailer #1 is the introduction of Star Wars: The Force Awakens characters.

Teaser trailer #1 opens on the actor John Boyega, who plays the character Finn. Then we see a new droid, BB-8 rolling along. We then see stormtroopers inside a dark ship, and the hatch opens.  We then see a female character frantically trying to steal a square looking landspeeder. This is actress Daisy Ridley, who plays the character Rey. We see a sith lord with a red lightsaber with two perpendicular shorter beams shooting from the right and left side. It then shows us the beloved Millennium Falcon doing a loop in the air.

Near-Mint Condition FX-7 Medical Droid Sells for Almost $13k

The Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back toy was a near-mint condition 1980 FX-7 (Medical Droid) by Palitoy brand toys. The final price at auction came to $12,900.00 USD. The actual starting (asking) price was only $93.00 USD.

This FX-7 medical droid appears on the Hoth medical station in the movie, Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back. The droid gets about 16 seconds of screen time. That 16 seconds is now worth $12,900.00 USD at auction.

Luke Skywalker is revived thanks to the FX-7 medical droid. So some people may argue that the FX-7 played a significant contribution to the Light side of the force in reviving Luke Skywalker.
