Photo via Vecteezy

Monday, September 29 is National Coffee Day, and coffee chains across the country are brewing up coffee deals that range from free coffee to deep discounts. Many of these deals are only valid on September 29 itself, and several require ordering through the chain's app or joining its free rewards program first. Here are the confirmed 2026 offers we've found so far.

Free Coffee Offers

Dunkin'

Dunkin' Rewards members get a free medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase made on the Dunkin' app on September 29. The offer is limited to one per customer at participating locations, so be sure to order through the app.

Whataburger

On September 29, Whataburger is pouring free 16-ounce hot or iced coffees with no purchase required. The offer is valid on online or in-app orders.

Caribou Coffee

Caribou Rewards members can score a free medium hot or cold brew with the purchase of another beverage when ordering in the Caribou app. You must be signed into a free rewards account to see the offer.

Paris Baguette

PB Rewards members get a free medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase on September 29. The reward should appear in the app for members that day.

Einstein Bros. Bagels

Einstein Bros. is giving away a free any-size iced coffee with any purchase on September 29. You must mention the offer in-store, and the deal is in-store only, so it cannot be redeemed online.

Aroma Joe's

All guests get a free 16-ounce coffee at Aroma Joe's on September 29 -- hot or iced -- with no app needed. AJ's Rewards members get an upgrade: an in-app reward for a free 24-ounce hot or iced coffee.

Jeff's Bagel Run

Jeff's Bagel Run is serving free hot or iced coffee all day on September 29 with no purchase necessary. Espresso lovers also get $3 off any espresso drink that day.

Brooklyn Water Bagel

Rewards members can claim a free 16-ounce hot coffee or 24-ounce Cubsta in-store or in the app on September 29. No purchase is required.

Pinkbox Doughnuts

Pinkbox Perks members get a free premium drip coffee with no purchase required on September 29, plus 50% off one specialty drink.

Frutta Bowls

Frutta Bowls is offering a free 16-ounce cold brew with any online or in-app purchase of $9.99 or more on September 29.

PJ's Coffee

PJ's Coffee is giving away a free 12-ounce hot coffee or 16-ounce cold brew with any in-store food purchase on September 29. Limit one per transaction at participating shops.

Klatch Coffee

Klatch Coffee app users can claim a free Competition Cappuccino by applying the in-app promo code on September 29. Limit one per guest, and the offer is redeemable in the app only.

Gregorys Coffee

Gregorys Rewards members who make a purchase on September 29 earn 400 Gs -- enough to redeem a free drip coffee on a future visit. Think of it as a free coffee delayed rather than a same-day giveaway.

Discounted Deals and BOGOs

Biggby Coffee

On September 29, Biggby is selling 16-ounce hot or iced brewed coffee for just $0.99 and a 16-ounce hot or iced Mocha Mocha Latte for $1.99. No membership or app order is required at participating locations.

Peet's Coffee

Peet's is celebrating its 60th anniversary with 25-cent Original Coffee at its coffee bars on September 29, plus 25% off at Peets.com. Peetnik Rewards members could also buy a $30 Cold Brew Pass covering September 1-30 for daily cold brew savings.

Sunny Street Cafe

Sunny Street Cafe is taking $2 off any cold brew -- including the Pumpkin Chai Cold Brew -- on September 29 at all locations.

Original ChopShop

On September 29, grab a 16-ounce Vanilla Iced Latte or Golden Iced Latte for $4.75 at Original ChopShop.

Parlor Doughnuts

Parlor Doughnuts is offering $5 off orders of $25 or more with promo code SAVE5 for National Coffee Day.

RaceTrac

RaceTrac is celebrating all month long with $1 small coffees from September 2-30 -- no need to wait for September 29.

DoorDash

DoorDash is stacking coffee savings: Dunkin' fans get a free medium hot or iced coffee with a $15 DoorDash purchase, while Scooter's Coffee is offering a free medium Caramelicious from September 27-29. Look for the participating store banners in the DoorDash app.

Dairy Queen

For a limited time at participating U.S. locations, Dairy Queen is selling small DQ Coffee Coolers for $3.

Stop & Shop

From September 25 through October 1, Stop & Shop rewards members can claim a free 48-ounce bottle of ready-to-drink cold brew in unsweetened medium roast, dark roast, or dark roast espresso. Limit one per rewards account while supplies last.

Verena Street Coffee

Verena Street Coffee is offering up to 25% off bagged coffee all month long during September.

Atlas Coffee

From September 21 through October 5, get a 12-ounce bag or box of Atlas coffee for $5 plus shipping -- a steep discount on its world tour coffee club.

How to Claim the Deals

Most of these offers hinge on one thing: the chain's app. Download it now and create a free rewards account before September 29, since many coffee deals require you to order ahead or scan a member code at the register. For in-store offers like Einstein Bros., simply mention the promotion at the counter.

Always confirm your location is participating before you go -- franchise-run shops can opt out -- and expect one-per-customer limits on nearly every giveaway. Some free coffee offers exclude specialty drinks like nitro or espresso beverages, so check the fine print in the app.

Starbucks

Starbucks is not offering a free coffee deal for National Coffee Day 2026. Instead, Starbucks Rewards members get 100 bonus Stars with any hot or iced coffee purchase on September 29. Starbucks is also launching a new iced espresso drink, the Aerocano, starting September 29.

McDonald's

McDonald's has no National Coffee Day 2026 offer. Instead, any-size Premium Roast Coffee or Iced Coffee is 99 cents daily through December 31 via the McDonald's app at participating restaurants.

7-Eleven

For National Coffee Day, 7-Eleven is serving 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members a large coffee for $1.49 and 7-Select mini donuts for $1 at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores.

Word is also still pending from Circle K, Krispy Kreme, Tim Hortons, and Scooter's Coffee. We'll update this list as more National Coffee Day deals are confirmed.

Logan Paul Will 'Pursue Legal Action' Against Those Calling him a 'Scammer'

Logan Paul told The Iced Coffee Hour Podcast that he is looking forward to "using legal channels" to sue individuals calling him a scammer. Comments rolled in on Yahoo! News, weighing in on Logan Paul.

Class Action Lawsuit Against Logan Paul Was Dismissed

In the 2023 CryptoZoo case, Plaintiffs alleged that CryptoZoo failed to deliver after buying NFTs and tokens for a blockchain based game that never launched. Paul promoted CryptoZoo in 2021 as a play-to-earn game where users could buy "egg" NFTs, hatch out virtual animals, and then "earn money" by breeding and trading them.

The game was never completed. In 2023, a class-action lawsuit was filed in Texas where Paul and his associates were accused of fraud, a breach of contract. Investors claimed that a "rug pull" happened because the project raised money and then never came to fruition.

In late October 2025, a judge dismissed the claims against Logan Paul in the CryptoZoo lawsuit.

Logan Paul Sues Coffeezilla for Defamation

Logan Paul launched a lawsuit against YouTuber Coffeezilla, which has a trial date set for April 2026. Coffeezilla is a moniker of YouTuber Stephen Findeisen, who released "investigative" YouTube videos accusing Paul of fraud in the CryptoZoo debacle.

Paul is seeking financial damages and legal costs against Findeisen after being accused of running a fraudulent scheme and "damaging his reputation."

Paul went on The Iced Coffee Hour Podcast and warns people that call him a scammer.

Comments on Yahoo!

Users on Yahoo! weighed in with their opinions. Read a few below.

Dylan said: "Probably not a good idea to sue someone for telling the truth. It will all come out in discovery, but Paul probably doesn't understand that."

User "Whatever" said: "With all the things people call you and your brother. SCAMMER is a compliment."

David M. wrote: "Maybe the Scammer should read the 1st amendment."

Louie wrote: "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.”

this guys a big joke stop following him all he does is take your money"

Juan Carlos said: "Fine, how about conman or grifter?"

Raymond commented, "So he doesn't like being called a scammer, how about grifter?"

Jaime wrote: "He is a scammer, if people didn't get all their money back, then it's obviously a scam. I don't see how he looks at it any different. Only a scammer would look at it as if they weren't scamming somebody and come up with excuses. He is a scammer..."
