Four Kids Caught 'Subway Surfing' on Train
On July 10, 2025, a NYPD drone spotted four kids on top of a moving train in a dangerous trend called "subway surfing." Two of the boys were only 12 years old. Police boarded the train and took all four into custody. This incident took place after a 15-year-old boy died on July 4th subway surfing.
MTA and police believe the dangerous trend has increased after it has been glamorized on social media.
