Ronaldo Cristiano, a world renowned soccer player, has confirmed his break up with his girlfriend, Irina Shayk.

Apparently, girlfriend Irina Shayk didn't help celebrate Ronaldo Cristiano mother's 60th birthday, which caused some problems with his family.  The rest is history. Their relationship lasted five years, but in the end, it didn't last.

They spent this past Christmas in Dubai, but things got ugly, and Ronaldo ended up spending New Year's Eve 2014 all alone with his son. His girlfriend Irina was not present.

Irina Shayk didn't attend the award ceremony for Ronaldo Cristiano, where he received his second World Player of the Year Award at the Ballon d'Or ceremony in Zurich. This is because they broke up.

Irina Shayk is a Russian model, and Ronaldo announced his separation with a written statement sent to the Associated Press on January 20, 2015. In his statement, he says he wishes Irina the "greatest happiness."

It is rumored that he is now seeing Lucia Villalon, a Spanish television news reporter.

The mother of Ronaldo's son, Cristiano Junior, has not been disclosed at this point.

Who is a better soccer player, Ronaldo or Messi?

International soccer fans ask the question: Who is better, Cristiano Ronaldo, or Lionel Messi?

The Latin Post says that at the start of 2015, Lionel Messi is outperforming Cristiano Ronaldo, if you comparing the two as a rivalry. Messi has scored twice so far in January 2015, while Ronaldo has not scored at all against soccer opponents.

NBC Sports posted an article saying that Cristiano Ronaldo is now a free agent, not on the soccer field, but in his love life, since his breakup with Irina Shayk.
